The Problems with Air Pollution
SUMMARY: Air pollution can cause smog or haze, ruining your digital photos.
Before your flight, check to see if the day will be labeled an Ozone Alert Day. If smog or pollutants are high, this can can create haze that will completely ruin your shots. If you can reschedule your flight, consider waiting until a day or two after it rains; this may clear the air of harmful elements, both to you and to your photography.
