Don't Just Focus on Animals at a Zoo

SUMMARY: Digital photos of peoples' interactions with animals can help tell a story.

This tip title sounds strange, right? When you're at a zoo, why shouldn't you focus your digital photography on the animals? That's why you're there, right?

Of course you should take photos of the animals! However, also keep your eyes open for photographic opportunities showcasing visitors' reactions with the animals. Great photo opportunities can be had of kids' eyes in astonishment as they see an unfamiliar animal for the first time, or of children directly interacting with animals at a petting zoo.
