Become a Keyboard Shortcut Master with Word 2000

It’s hard to use a computer and never write anything with it. Whether you need a book report, a business white paper, or a personal letter, you probably use your word processor to create works of text.
And, statistically speaking, if you use a word processor with Windows, you are using Microsoft Word.
Since I’m guessing you use Word, and you want to get your work done faster, this article is for you.
To start, I’m going to make a bold statement... in order to create documents with Word, unless you have a fancy speech-to-text software package, you are typing. Man, I’m on a roll!
Guess what? I’m going to presume that if you’re typing, you are probably using both hands to type. Maybe you are using one finger from each hand to type, and maybe you are a professional and utilize the “home row” technique. But, nonetheless, you are using both hands to key in your documents.
Yes, I’m getting somewhere with this rambling.
Since you are using two hands to type, you probably occasionally need to underline some text, save a document every few minutes in case your computer hangs, or perhaps you need to get help on a particular function. To do so, you use a mouse, which means that unless you use three hands, you have to release one hand from the keyboard and place it on the mouse to perform your desired function.
