AntiVir AntiVirus

Find Out the Last Update Time

SUMMARY: Find out when you last updated the AntiVir virus scanner.

The AntiVir virus scanner, by default, will remind you whenever its virus definition files are out of date (these tell AntiVir how to detect and remove newer viruses). If, however, you think it has been a while since your last update, but you don't want to run LiveUpdate just yet (perhaps you're on a dial-up Internet account and the updates take a while), just open the AntiVir Guard (double-click the AntiVir taskbar icon) and choose "Help - About AVGuard". AntiVir will provide version information on when it was last updated.

Americans - remember that AntiVir is developed in Europe, so the months and dates may be transposed, i.e. 27-08-2003 means August 27, 2003.
