SUMMARY: Track the historical popularity of first names given to babies in the US.

Are you expecting a baby and don't know what to name him or her? At the Baby Name Wizard, you can use the "Advanced Baby Name Finder" to display male or female names that match given criteria such as syllables, first letter, popularity, and style preferences (is the name traditional or contemporary).

Other features include the "NameMapper", letting you type in a name and view its relative popularity by U.S. state over the last few decades. Plus, the "NameVoyager" lets you explore naming trends.

Type in a name into the "Namipedia" and display name origins, popularity (U.S., by state, and globally), nicknames, people who share a given name, and much more.

For those still having difficulty picking a name, the site also lists the top twenty most popular boys and girls baby names in the U.S.
