Belarc Advisor displays a profile of your system information and displays the results in your default web browser. Information includes the system processor and cache, user accounts, network adapter information, keys for various software packages, and the installed versions of a variety of software packages on your system.

Included in the report is security-related information including a list of missing Microsoft hotfixes, whether or not your anti-virus definitions are up-to-date, and a security benchmark (the latter for Windows XP Pro, 2000, and 2003 only).

Note that Belarc Advisor is free for personal use only. The company offers vulnerability assessment and configuration management software for businesses and other organizations.
