Buying a Scanner

Does it Have One Touch Buttons?

SUMMARY: One-touch scanner buttons may make emailing and printing scans much easier.

If you don't like constantly fooling with computer configurations and just want to get things done, consider buying a scanner that has one-touch buttons on the front. This way, you can place a document on the scanner and press a button to scan an image to send it directly to the printer, in e-mail as a file attachment, to the fax machine, your graphics software, or other program.

Granted, you will have to once configure some software to tell the scanner which programs should be run when pressing a particular button, but once that is done, you shouldn't have to worry about it any more.
