Camera Phone - Name Your Pictures

Although it can be annoying to type text into your cell phone, strongly consider naming pictures taken with your camera phone immediately after you take the pictures (if supported by your camera phone). This makes it much easier to later find a picture (i.e. 'cat meow' is more descriptive than 'PHOTO0002'), especially when browsing through photo thumbnails on extremely small camera phone screens.

If you are taking photos in a hurry and don't have time to type in the names, consider other ways of recording the subjects' descriptions. You might want to bring along an old-fashioned notepad and pen/pencil. Or, bring along a voice recorder or use your cell phone's voice recorder feature to describe photos.
