Add a Downloads Button to the Toolbar
SUMMARY: Manage Google Chrome downloads with one click by adding a toolbar button.
Do you frequently download files while browsing the web with Google Chrome? If you often access the "Downloads" tab to manage retrieved files, clicking the wrench menu and selecting "Downloads" may be one click too many. And you just might not remember the Ctrl + J keyboard shortcut.
The "Downloads" extension for Google Chrome adds a button to the right of the address bar where you can access the "Downloads" tab with one click of the mouse. If your toolbar is not already crowded with other extensions you might find this shortcut handy.
1. From Google Chrome, visit the "Downloads" extension page.
2. Click the "Install" button.
3. Click "Install" in the "Confirm Installation" dialog box when prompted.
Return to the Google Chrome page.
