Do you frequently share content on a variety of blogs, bookmarking services, and social networks, as well as via web-based e-mail, using sites such as Blogger, Digg, Facebook, Gmail, Reddit, and Twitter? Tired of installing extensions for each individual service to share content or relying on website share buttons?
The "Google Share Button" for Google Chrome adds a button to the Toolbar that lets you share content via Blogger, Delicious, Digg, Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail, Mail, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Twitter, Typepad, and Yahoo! Mail. Plus, the extension can be configured to allow sharing on a variety of other services including Google Buzz, LinkedIn, LiveJournal, Reddit, Technorati, and Wordpress.
To install:
1. From Google Chrome, visit the "Google Share Button" extension page.
2. Click the "Install" button.
To share the currently-browsed site, just click on the Google Share Button and select your desired service.
If you want to customize the list of services shown, select "Options" from the list. A new tab appears allowing you to check / uncheck services to display / hide them. Or, click the "View more services" link and choose from a variety of other services to display.
Return to the Google Chrome page.
