SUMMARY: ClipMagic stores text and images copied to the clipboard, and it includes a variety of clip management features.


 

ClipMagic is a freeware (for non-commercial use) clipboard enhancer for Windows. ClipMagic stores text and image recently-copied clips to the clipboard, making them available for browsing or repasting.

If you have many clips to manage, categories can be created. Rules can be established, automatically ignoring clips or moving them to categories based on the clip file type, text, and other options.

Other features include:

* Preview text and image clips

* Remembering webpages from where text was copied

* An integrated web browser so you can see the pages where text was copied (or you can click links to launch your default browser)

* Full and partial screen capture

* Save clips to disk

Bonus Tip: To make previously-copied clips easily accessible right-click the item in ClipMagic and choose "Item Properties", then give the item a hotkey. Or, enable the PastePicker:

1. Click the "Tools" menu, selecting "Options".

2. The "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears. Make sure the "General" tab is selected.

3. Check "Display PastePicker Box with".

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Now pressing Ctrl + V in most applications lets you choose which text (or image) to paste.
