ClipX is a freeware clipboard history manager for Windows. The software monitors texts and images copied to the clipboard, letting you paste them into applications with a customizable hotkey (default of Ctrl + Shift + V). The popup list shows previews of text and images.
Other hotkeys - Ctrl + Shift + G - perform a Google search for the current text in the clipboard, and Ctrl + Shift + N navigates to an URL copied to the clipboard.
Configuration options include letting you keep copied clips between sessions, choosing whether or not to remember copied images, showing or hiding an icon in the system tray, running ClipX at system startup, and configuring the size of thumbnails in the clip popup list.
ClipX supports plug-ins that can be downloaded from the main page. The current list adds features such as permanent clips, resaving images, logging all copied text to the clipboard, and more.
