CounterSpy - Download CounterSpy to Remove Malware

CounterSpy, a spyware and malware detector / remover from Sunbelt Software, claims to remove spyware and adware from your machine. As of July 17, 2005, due to licensing deals, it receives updated definition files from three sources - Sunbelt's research, ThreatNet Community members, and Microsoft.

CounterSpy also includes tools to clean history files and a "Secure File Eraser".

Although CounterSpy costs money, you can download a 15-day trial version from the following site:

Click the "Download" button to begin the download process. Follow the webpage instructions to download the software. Double-click the downloaded EXE to install the trial, then read the on-screen prompts to finish the installation. Note you will have to reboot your machine after the installation.
