Do not Install with Microsoft AntiSpyware

SUMMARY: Installing CounterSpy alongside Microsoft AntiSpyware, unless CounterSpy is above version 1.5, is a bad idea.

Note that CounterSpy does not recommend you install CounterSpy on the same machine you install Microsoft AntiSpyware until at least version 1.5 of CounterSpy has been released. This is partially due to the fact that both programs share a portion of the same code.
