What types of subjects am I talking about? * Cottages, barns, or log cabins * Horses or other native animals * A zoomed-in photo of a bird nesting or flying in a tree covered with autumnal foliage Though you should feel free to experiment, consider (but don't be completely constrained by) the "thirds rule" in your photos where your subject is either in the left or right third quadrant of your picture.
