Digital Parade Photography

Get Near a Corner

SUMMARY: Consider situating yourself at a corner when taking digital photos of parades.

One position you may want to take when shooting digital parade photography is on a street corner. Parades normally slow down as they navigate the bend, giving you more of a chance to take a good photo. Also, if you position your camera right, you can take a photo containing parade participants coming towards you and those moving to the right, adding perspective to your photo.
