Sharpen After Resizing SUMMARY: Use photo 'unsharp' tools to sharpen resized images.
If you need to resample or resize your digital photos, examine the resized versions carefully; they may look slightly fuzzy and require sharpening. Most digital photo editing software come with a sharpen tool. Unsharp Mask and Adaptive Unsharp work well in many situations. Yes, I said use a tool called unsharp to sharpen an image; this is not a misprint.
