Here's one interesting idea you may not have thought about with your photos - creating ASCII art.

ASCII art is just a combination of colored letters, numbers, and punctuation characters, but yet they are combined in such a way that if you step back from your monitor a couple of feet, they take on the look of a photograph!

ASCII art is better illustrated than described, so here are some example of websites and software products that can convert your pictures to ASCII art (listed for informational purposes only). Note that this conversion usually works best for smaller photos with simple subjects:
