Digital Photo Processing - Save a Backup Before Adding Text

If you're adding text to a digital photo of yours, such as copyright information, a description, or a greeting if you plan on sending the picture to a friend or relative, don't make the mistake of working on the original copy! Always, always, always save a backup copy and modify it instead. Keep the original, as you might want a copy without text later, or you may wish to send the photo to someone else with a different greeting.
