Many people are scared of digital cameras, with their extra buttons and knobs, memory cards, cost of batteries usage, etc. Encourage others to experiment with digital photography without spending much money by purchasing a cheaper compact to start. Provide assistance as they learn the basics, such as copying photos to their computer, so they don't become frustrated.
