Digital Sports Photography - Be Careful with Your Camera and Equipment

SUMMARY: Prevent your digital camera and equipment from getting damaged.

At a sporting event, it may be natural to want to celebrate with other fans after an impressive play, such as a slam-dunk, walk-off home run, or a 40-yard touchdown pass. Be careful! You don't want to bang around the camera or subject it to liquids (i.e. cola or beer) that can damage your equipment. This is especially true if your lens cap is off.

Also, don't lose your camera bag during the celebration. Keep it around your shoulder or next to you as it may contain expensive accessories. You should have fun at a sporting event, but don't let that excitement turn into depression by ruining hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars of equipment.
