To increase tourism to downtown areas, many cities have created themed street art projects of various subjects. These have included dozens or hundreds of apples in New York's The Big Apple Fest, cows in the Chicago Cows on Parade (sm) exhibit, or Snoopys (of Peanuts(tm) fame) in St. Paul, Minnesota. The various sculptures may be made to look psychedelic, patriotic, like robots, or dressed in 20's style clothing, raingear, or whatever. These may make great photo subjects; perhaps you can do a photo essay and find and take photographs of all such subjects in a particular town.
