Digital Waterfall Photography - Bracketing is Vital

It can be very difficult working with digital camera metering and exposure settings in order to take great waterfall photos. The sky may be bright, yet due to surrounding foliage, the ground may be dark, and the running water also provides difficulty in setting exposures.

To help ensure great digital photos, even if you use a matrix metering system, be sure to bracket your photos using a variety of exposure compensation (EV) offsets. The variety of lighting and movement may fool your digital camera into slightly under or over-exposing your photos.
