Dogpile Search

Display News From Sources in Particular States or Countries

SUMMARY: Limit your search for news stories in Dogpile to sources in particular geographic areas.

The Dogpile metasearch engine lets you perform searches for news items from a variety of national and international sources. If you're looking for news items reported from a particular area, do the following:

1. Visit the Dogpile home page and click the "News" link.

2. Click the "Advanced link". Next to "Qualify Your Search" enter your search query next to "All of these words".

3. Scroll down below "Additional News Search Options" to "News Location". From here you can choose pull-downs to limit your searches from news organizations located in:

* World regions (All, Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, South America)

* Countries

* US States

* Specific US Cities (such as Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York)

4. Click the "Go Fetch!" button on the bottom of the page to perform your search.

Return to the Dogpile Search page.
