Mozilla Firefox - Plugins and Extensions

Extend the Size of Your Bookmarks Toolbar

SUMMARY: Display more bookmarks in Firefox's Bookmarks Toolbar simultaneously via the "Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar" add-on.

Is your Bookmarks Toolbar in Mozilla Firefox overflowing? One options is to remove the descriptions of bookmarks in your Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar, only displaying the icons.

Another option is to use the "Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar" add-on. With this extension, as you add more items to the Toolbar, Firefox will increase its size so all can be displayed at once. While the extension does max out at three rows by default, if you have a larger monitor you can increase the size.

4. Once the add-on has installed, click the "Restart Firefox" button. Depending on your configuration, Firefox may note that it will try to restart your windows and tabs.

As mentioned above, this add-on limits the number of lines to 3. To change this, select "Tools" - "Add-ons", and then click the "Options" button underneath "MultirowBookmarksToolbar".
