Mozilla Firefox - Plugins and Extensions

Add Print and Print Preview to Context Menu

SUMMARY: Right-click on a web page and choose to print or print preview the page with the QuickPrint extension.

Do you frequently print web pages viewed in Mozilla Firefox, sometimes accessing the Print Preview feature to make sure your hardcopies look as intended? If so, you may find it frustrating to go through Firefox's menus or use the Ctrl+P keyboard shortcut to access these features.

If you prefer using the context menu (right-click on Windows, Option-click on Mac), consider the "QuickPrint" plug-in. Just right-click a webpage and access the "Print" and "Print Preview" options from there. It's that simple!

To install the extension, visit:

Note that most add-ons are from third party developers. Installation and use of add-ons are solely at your own risk.

This tip was written regarding Firefox v15.0.1 and the QuickPrint add-on v0.1.2 running on a Windows 7 box. Features, instructions, and screenshots for other versions / operating systems may vary.
