Need Help with Scrabble Tiles?

SUMMARY: If you need help while playing Scrabble or other anagram word games from within Firefox, this search engine may help.

Do you play an online version of Scrabble(r) while using Mozilla Firefox and ever get dealt a rack of tiles that you cannot create anything with? The "Scrabble Solver" add-on may help. This adds a search engine to Firefox allowing you to type a list of your tiles and search the Scrabble Solver service. Note that at the time this tip was written, this only searches the US / Canada version.

To add this search engine:

1. Visit the following page from within Firefox:

* Scrabble Solver (US/Canada: TWL dictionary)

2. Click the "Add to Firefox" button.

3. The "Add Search Engine" dialog box will appear. Click the "Add" button.

4. Once the search engine has installed, to use it, click on the search engine pull-down and choose "Scrabble Solver US/Canada (TWL)".


5. Type in the tiles you have available into the search box and press the Return key or the magnifying glass to perform the search. The results should soon appear.
