Mozilla Firefox - Plugins and Extensions

Tweak Firefox's Title Bar Text

SUMMARY: Customize the text displayed in the title bar of Firefox to display the browser name, version, and/or page title.

By default, Mozilla Firefox displays in its title bar the name of the current webpage, followed by " - Mozilla Firefox".

For various reasons you may not want the title of the website displayed in the title bar. Or, if you frequently switch between running different versions of Firefox (see Firefox Portable), you might want the browser's version number displayed to remind you which version of Firefox you are currently running. And just for kicks you might even want to change the title bar text from "Mozilla Firefox" to that of your choosing.
