Mozilla Firefox

Remember More Webpages in History

SUMMARY: Force Mozilla Firefox to remember more of your recent web travels for easier recall.

This tip was written for Mozilla Firefox v2.0.0.7. Screenshots and instructions for other versions may vary.

When you press CONTROL-H in Mozilla Firefox, a list of previously-accessed webpages is shown. This way you can quickly go back to a favorite webpage you accessed a couple of days ago, useful if you visit a website then have to leave the computer.

While a few days worth of history is available by default, you may want Firefox to remember even more recently viewed webpages. To do so:

1. Select "Tools" - "Options".

2. When the "Options" dialog box appears, select "Privacy".

3. Underneath "History", next to "Remember visited pages for the last", ensure the checkbox is checked.

4. Enter the number of days for which you want Mozilla to remember the browsed webpage history.

5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
