Mozilla Firefox - Misc

Stop Resizing Images

SUMMARY: Show all images in their full resolution when browsing websites with Mozilla Firefox.

Normally, if you view a webpage in Mozilla Firefox that has an unusually large image, the image will be resized to better fit the browser window. When you hover over the image, your cursor turns into a magnifying glass. Click the image and it will resize to its full resolution. Click the picture again and the image will resize back to a smaller version.

Many people find image resizing useful in that the horizontal scrollbar won't appear. If you're not one of these people and wish to turn off this feature:

1. Click "Tools" - "Options".

2. When the "Options" dialog box appears, click "Advanced".

3. Select the "General" tab.

4. Underneath "Browsing", uncheck "Resize large images to fit in the browser window".

5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
