| Test Your Internet Connection Speed SUMMARY: How fast are you currently accessing the Internet? These Mozilla Firefox extensions will tell you.
Curious about the speed of your Internet connection? Two Mozilla Firefox extensions, "Bandwidth Meter" (for all operating systems), and "Broadband Speed Test and Diagnostics" (Windows-only) may help.
Note that, as with all Internet bandwidth tests, recorded speeds may vary due to the geographic location of you versus the tests' locations, the time and day, total Internet traffic, etc. You may want to compare results with other bandwidth tests such as those offered at broadbandreports.com.
To download Mozilla Firefox Extensions such as these bandwidth testers, visit https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/. Or, from Mozilla Firefox, choose "Tools" - "Extensions" and select "Get More Extensions".
