Mozilla Firefox - Security and Privacy

Temporarily Clear the Website Cache

SUMMARY: For privacy or speed, learn how to remove all content from Mozilla Firefox's disk cache.

Is Mozilla Firefox running too slowly? Are previously-viewed webpages not rendering correctly? Or do you need to delete personally-identifiable information to increase your privacy? For these and other reasons you may wish to temporarily clear Firefox's website cache. This is easy to do.

1. Click "Tools" - "Options".
2. When the "Options" dialog box appears, click "Privacy".
3. Click the "Cache" tab.
4. Click the "Clear Cache Now" button.
5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
