Mozilla Firefox - Security and Privacy - Temporarily Clear the Website Cache

SUMMARY: For privacy or speed, learn how to remove all content from Mozilla Firefox's disk cache.

Is Mozilla Firefox running too slowly? Are previously-viewed web pages not rendering correctly? Or do you need to delete personally-identifiable information to increase your privacy? For these and other reasons you may wish to temporarily clear Firefox's website cache. There are several ways to do this - below is one way:

1. Click "Tools" - "Options".

2. When the "Options" dialog box appears, click the "Advanced" button.

3. Click the "Network" tab.

4. Underneath "Offline Storage", click the "Clear Now" button.

5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
