Mozilla Firefox - Plugins and Extensions - Play Tetris in Your Browser

SUMMARY: Now you can play a game of Tetris, filling up row upon row of blocks from within Firefox.

Waiting forever for a download to complete in Mozilla Firefox? Is a webpage taking a long time to load? If you're looking for a quick distraction, consider the "Xultris" Tetris clone. As a Mozilla Firefox extension, you can play it right from your browser!

To install the "Xultris" extension:

Note that most extensions are from third party developers. Installation and use of extensions are solely at your own risk.




1. Select "Tools" - "Add-Ons".

2. The "Add-Ons" dialog box appears. Click the "Get Add-ons" button.

3. In the search box, type xultris and press the magnifying glass.

4. The Xultris extension is displayed below. Click the "Add to Firefox" button.

5. The "Software Installation" dialog box will eventually appear. Click "Install Now" as soon as the button is enabled.

6. Once the add-on has installed, click the "Restart Firefox" button. Depending on your configuration, Firefox may note that it will try to restart your windows and tabs.

After Firefox has restarted, play Xultris by clicking "Tools" - "Xultris". Have fun!

When Xultris starts, click "1 Player" to start the game or press "n". Use the left and right cursor keys to move the blocks left and right. Cursor up rotates the block and cursor down moves the block down faster or immediately.

Click the "1P Options" button to adjust how the down cursor key functions. You can also toggle the Xultris background image, toggle the grid border, and change the start level. Note that toggling the "Junk" option may not work.
