Mozilla Firefox - Misc

Stop Loading Web Images

SUMMARY: Prevent Mozilla Firefox from loading images from most websites.

Perhaps you're browsing the web with Mozilla Firefox on a dial-up connection. Maybe the webpages you browse contain too many images and you just want the text. For whatever the reason, you can force Mozilla Firefox to not load standard images (note that images loaded from Flash files and other multimedia types may not be affected).

1. Select "Tools" - "Options".
2. Click "Content".
3. Uncheck "Load Images".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
