| Toggle Closing Download Manager When Downloads Complete SUMMARY: Do you need instant access to files downloaded in Mozilla Firefox?
When downloading files in Mozilla Firefox, a Download Manager appears that displays the download process. When done, depending on your configuration, the Download Manager may disappear from view. Or, it may remain onscreen, giving you quick access to your newly transferred files.
To toggle this behavior:
1. Click "Tools" - "Options".
2. Select "Downloads".
3. Underneath "Download Manager", check or uncheck "Close the Download Manager when all downloads are complete" as desired.
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
