FontExpert for Windows

SUMMARY: FontExpert is a commercial font manager for Windows that creates printed and HTML font contact sheets.

FontExpert is a commercial TrueType, OpenType, and Adobe Type 1 font manager for Windows XP - Windows Vista from Proxima Software. The software lets you manage fonts in libraries and groups, activating and deactivating fonts as needed for particular tasks.

Program features include displaying font character maps, kerning pairs, searching for duplicate fonts, detecting problems with installed fonts and font substitutions, and printing detailed information about fonts or font contact sheets.

Through the "Fonts" - "Export to HTML" menu option, you can create font contact sheets in HTML. Many configuration options are available including adjusting the font sample size, colors, numbers of rows and columns, sample text, drop shadow, and output image format.


FontExpert 2009 in action



FontExpert can make backups of all fonts in the Windows fonts folder as well as other fonts listed in the software's database.

Many customization options are included such as changing the program's theme, colors, text used to display font samples, and fonts and groups folders.
