Don't Leave Your Account Dormant

SUMMARY: Access your Gmail account regularly so you don't lose it.

If you sign up for Gmail service, don't forget to regularly check your account. As of June 13, 2005, Google will delete dormant accounts (including all e-mail) after nine months of inactivity. However, this is subject to change as more users get Gmail accounts, so I would advice checking your e-mail at least once every 30 days.
