Make Google Chrome your Default Browser

SUMMARY: Set Google Chrome to be the default web browser opened by most Windows applications.


 

When installing Google Chrome, you have the option to make it your default browser that opens when most Windows programs request a browser to view a webpage (some software may be hardcoded to open Internet Explorer). If you did not make this choice, yet later wish to make Google Chrome your default browser, do the following:

1. Click the Tools button, selecting "Options".

2. When the "Google Chrome Options" dialog box appears, click the "Basics" tab.

3. Underneath "Default browser", click the "Make Google Chrome my default browser" button.

4. Click "Close" to close the dialog box.

I love Google Chrome and been using for long , but recently My facebook cant be use with it ? help !!!!!something with adobe , my profile page does not work when using G.C. but is okay with internet explorer ???

Have you updated to the latest version of Flash? If the problem is new, have you considered reinstalling Chrome?

If a page works fine with IE like you mentioned but fails with Chrome, you may wish to report the error to Google - see for more information:
