Google Image Search - Search for Similar Images
SUMMARY: Use an experimental Google tool to search for images similar to one another.
Google Labs has created a project called Google Similar Images, allowing you to find an image and then click for images that Google deems similar. The best way to describe it is via example, and three are illustrated below:
What if you want images of an apple fruit, but searching for "apple" displays on the first results page the Apple computer logo in various forms, iPods, an Apple logo tattoo, and few photographs of the edible fruit? Click on "Similar images" underneath a fruit photograph to only view fruit-related imagery.

Search for images related to "basketball" and click on a black-and-white cartoon drawing of a basketball player. Google will attempt to find other black-and-white cartoon drawings of basketball players.

As a third example, search for "Washington Monument". Images will appear of the Washington Monument only, Washington Monument blueprints, the Washington Monument from above, and others. If you click on a photo that contains the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, Google will display other Washington Monument photos that include the Reflecting Pool.
