| Full Street Numbers Work Best SUMMARY: Qualify your addresses with full street numbers when searching with Google Maps.
Google Maps is currently in beta, so some of the search queries may not work as expected. Thus, qualify as much information as possible to better your chances of Google being able to draw a map of your desired location.
For example, entering the query "Columbus Dr, Chicago" shows a map of Chicago, but Google does not focus on Columbus Drive. Instead, it looks for various businesses inside Chicago. However, query "1000 Columbus Dr, Chicago" and you'll see a correct map of Columbus drive smack in the middle of Grant Park, Chicago.
