Google News - Search Archive of Older News Articles

With Google News you can limit your news searches to articles published within a selected range of dates. However, what if you need to search farther back in time?

Google has a news archive search with articles from selected news sources going back 200 years.

1. From Google News, click "News Archive Search".

2. Type in your search query and click "Search Archives".

3. A list of news articles will appear. On the left-side of the screen you can limit your searches to particular date ranges.

Note that while some news sources are free, others require payment for viewing.
