Version 3.0 - Turning off Link Underlines Although you can not easily turn off link underlining in Internet Explorer 3.0, it is possible.
BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY BEFORE PROCEEDING!
Run Regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\ Main. In the right pane, you will see the key "Anchor Underline." Change its value to "no."
