Just like AltaVista (see the previous tip in MalekTips regarding Advanced Boolean), other search engines, such as Excite, Hotbot, and Lycos, offer advanced searching tips. Just look on the page for "Advanced Search", "Power Search", or "More Search". Using these advanced searches may result in a more accurate result set, so experiment.
