Nothing irks off people on USENET more than new posters asking a question in a newsgroup that has already been covered. Since many of you may be new to USENET, here's a free word of advice. Before posting to a newsgroup, just look around said newsgroup for a couple of days (called 'lurking'.) See what the topics are and try to find a document called the "Frequently Asked Questions" (or FAQ) list. These documents are created to solve common questions before they are asked. Do yourself and others a favor and skim this document before you post in a newsgroup.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Internet - In USENET, Read the FAQ
