Broken Images on Web Pages
If an image doesn't correctly load on a webpage, it will come up as a broken graphic in most web browsers. Due to the inconsistency of the Internet, try clicking on the graphic once, or pulling up the options menu for the graphic (usually by right-clicking the graphic or OPTION clicking for Macintosh users) and choosing "View Graphics." Sometimes graphics that fail to load the first time will actually load the second time. If this does not work, then the link to the graphic itself is bad. If so, there is nothing you can do, besides leaving a polite message to the webmaster alerting him or her of the problem.
