SUMMARY: Customize the commands shown on Internet Explorer 7's Command Bar.
The Internet Explorer 7 Command Bar graphically provides access to frequently-used commands in place of a menu bar. By default, the Command Bar provides access to:
* Home page options
* RSS Feed options
* Printing options
* Page options
* Tools
Plus, clicking the double-arrows provides other options, which may include:
* Help
* Messenger
* Program-specific options such as "Research" if you have Microsoft Office
If you'd like to remove commands from the command bar or provide quick access to other commands, do the following:
NOTE: If you cannot access the command bar customization options as they are grayed out (see the below screenshot), first follow the instructions in the tip on enabling access to Internet Explorer 7 Command Bar customization.
1. Right-click the Command Bar, selecting "Customize Command Bar" - "Add or Remove Commands".

2. The "Customize Toolbar" dialog box will appear.
Customizing the Internet Explorer 7 Command Bar / Toolbar
From here you can do the following:
* Click on a button in the left pane, then the "Add" button to add it to the toolbar.
* Click on a button in the right pane, then the "Remove" button to remove it from the toolbar. For example, in the above screenshot, we are removing the button to "Real.com" that RealPlayer previously added to Internet Explorer.
* To move buttons around the toolbar, click on a button and then "Move Up" to move it to the left, or "Move Down" to move it to the right.
* To reset the toolbar to its default options, click the "Reset" button.
3. When you are finished customizing, click the "Close" button to close the "Customize Toolbar" dialog box.
