SUMMARY: Keep Internet Explorer 7 from automatically resizing large images.
By default, when viewing large images in Internet Explorer 7, the browser will attempt to resize the images down so they fit in your browser window. This way you can view an entire image without having to use the scroll bar.
Though many people appreciate this automatic feature, others would rather see images, such as photos, in full detail. Thus, this setting can be disabled.
Example of an image automatically resized in Internet Explorer 7
1. Click on the "Tools" button in the toolbar, selecting "Internet Options".
2. When the "Internet Properties" dialog box appears, click the "Advanced" tab.
3. Scroll down to "Multimedia" and uncheck "Enable automatic image resizing".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
If you have any open images in Internet Explorer 7, reload their windows / tabs. Now you can use the scroll bars to view images in their normal size.
