Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
Accelerator to Share Webpages via Digg, FaceBook, Twitter, More
SUMMARY: Post or e-mail webpages viewed from Internet Explorer 8 to a variety of services with a right-click Accelerator.
While browsing the web in Internet Explorer 8, ever come across a webpage that you would like to tell the world about not only via Digg, FaceBook, and Twitter, but also via Delicious, MySpace, Reddit, StumbleUpon, and other services?
The "Sharing, E-mail, Bookmark Tool" Internet Explorer 8 Accelerator from Shareaholic allows you to do just that. Right-click a webpage to post or e-mail a link to a variety of services without having to install multiple toolbars.
1. From Internet Explorer, visit the following URL:
http://www.ieaddons.com/en/details/bookmarks/Sharing_Email_Bookmark_Tool/
2. Click the "Add to Internet Explorer" button.
3. Confirm the Accelerator information is correct. If you want this to be the default Accelerator for the "Bookmark" category, meaning you do not have to go through a second step of accessing an "All Accelerators" submenu, click the "Make this my default provider for this Accelerator Category" box. Then click the "Add" button.
Now when you visit a webpage you would like to share (hint, hint), right-click on the page and hover your mouse pointer over "E-mail, Share, Save, or Bookmark Link". Note that if you did not make this the default accelerator for the category, you'll need to first select "All Accelerators", then hover your mouse pointer over "E-mail, Share, Save, or Bookmark Link".
Next to the menu item you should soon see options to share the current page on a variety of services - click a link to open a new tab and share the page. If your desired service is not visible, click the "E-mail, Share, Save, or Bookmark Link" menu option to open Shareaholic in a new tab and view other services, if available.
Return to the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 page.
