Test out a Website in Different Display Sizes

SUMMARY: When developing a website and testing it with Internet Explorer 9, see how pages appear in different window sizes.

If you develop websites and test them with Windows Internet Explorer 9, you might like to see how they appear in different display sizes. This may be useful in making sure important screen elements are visible to those with smaller monitors, or if you have different stylesheets based on the display size (CSS Media Queries).

1. Press F12 to open the Developer Tools if they are not already opened.

2. Select the "Tools" menu, choosing "Resize". Then select from one of the given display sizes or click "Custom" to access a dialog box where you can manage your own custom sizes.
